Completion of our 4-year program will award you with a Bachelor of
Science degree in Veterinary Science. It will NOT allow you to practice
veterinary medicine. Our degree program is designed to provide students
with the prerequisites to apply to Veterinary Medical College. The
State
of Arizona does not have a Veterinary Medical School. Arizona residents
must go out of state to obtain a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).
The state does have a program called WICHE (Western Interstate Commission
for Higher Education) for professional student exchange. This is a
competitive
program that will help fund your out of state tuition for professional
school.
